About US
Eagle Action Sportz was founded by three veterans who met while pursuing degrees at USM. Taylor Harvey, Kelo Loper, and Cody Abadie all worked for the USM Center for Military Veterans, Service Members, and Families part-time while in school. The three realized there was not much to do in the Hattiesburg area regarding recreational activities and wanted to create something that was fun for youth as well as adults. Growing up each of them had enjoyed playing paintball and Cody Abadie currently competes in the National XBall League (NXL)traveling all over to various fields to play. Having this background in paintball they knew how great of a sport it was for people of all ages to get great exercise as well as develop team building skills. Eagle Action Sportz was opened to the public on August 19th, 2017.
How we got started
Our field is located north of Hattiesburg, MS off of Highway 49 North. Currently, there are three different style fields available for play. There is one tournament style field that changes with the current NXL layout, one recreational style field, and one hyper-ball field. Picnic tables are available for relaxing between games and for spectators, however, we welcome guests to bring their own chairs if they would like.
We do allow guests to bring their own paintball gear as long as it meets our safety requirements. We have all the gear needed to play available for rent as well. Paint must be purchased on-site; no outside paint is allowed in the fields. The field is open Monday - Thursday by reservation, Friday 3 PM to Dusk, Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM.
